Real Talk with Tina and Ann
Tina and Ann are more than just two moms sharing their lives, they are two women who have overcome some of life’s hardest obstacles and are passionate about helping others do the same.
Tina is a broadcaster, mom of three boys, caregiver, and co-host. Her passion for open, hopeful conversations about mental health comes from lived experiences. Tina is a caregiver for her mom, who is living with late-stage early onset Alzheimer’s, a devastating disease that has profoundly impacted her family’s life. Tina understands the emotional toll, the daily challenges, and isolation caregiving can bring, and she channels that understanding into creating a safe space for others walking similar roads.
Tina also knows the struggle of mental health firsthand. She's faced her own battle with depression, losing a baby and the lasting effects of past trauma. Her healing journey has been shaped by counseling, yoga, and the hard but transformative work of learning to love herself. Today, she uses her voice and story to remind others while pain is real, so is hope.
Ann holds a master’s degree in counseling and has dedicated her career to advocacy and service. She has worked in the jail system, served as the director of a battered women’s shelter and rape crisis center, and worked with abused children. As assistant director of a school for children with autism, she supported families navigating the challenges of neurodivergence. Ann is autistic herself and a proud mom raising three children who have autism. Once told she would not graduate high school, she has gone on to accomplish more than anyone imagined, proving limitations don’t define your future.
Together, Tina and Ann share their stories of resilience and sit down with guests who are not only surviving but thriving despite the challenges they’ve faced. Real Talk with Tina and Ann is about more than conversation—it’s about connection, hope -- the belief there's purpose in the pain.
